A short time ago Alyssa had her doctor checkup so I guess I’ll do a little update on my little ‘Lissy’. She is now almost 20 months old with her two year birthday coming up July 31st. Her height is 33 inches and she weighs 25 pounds. Both of these are up near the 90th percentile for her age. She has really blond hair that curls around in the back – quite the cutie. She’s not quite talking in sentences yet but words are definitely flowing out of her mouth – the latest things she is obsessed with saying are:

• side (I want to go outside)
• baby (I want to watch Baby Einstein)
• no (who knows – right now NO means no and yes for her)
• mmmmm (I’m hungry)

Alyssa (Lissy, lis, sissy, etc) is going to have a blast this spring/summer as she LOVES it outside. Her favorite thing is riding in the ‘Barbie Jeep’ with her big brother! She thinks she is so cool hopping in the jeep, shutting the door, buckling up and turning on the radio. Yes – this thing has a radio! Could she be spoiled? Nah!

She sleeps really well for both nap time and night time. Mommy can’t get out of site without her whining. Her favorite food right now is either chicken nuggets, hotdogs or fries (McDonalds to the rescue). She’s starting to play with her dolls more but really just likes to follow Drew around and do whatever he does. When Drew and I wrestle on the floor she gets right in the mix by jumping right on top of me. I think she is going to like sports as she is fascinated with throwing balls. She loves it when I hold her up to the 7 ft. hoop and let her drop the basketball in. Lissy also likes to dance with her momma on the PS2 Dance Dance Revolution.

I guess that’s enough about Alyssa for now. I’ll try to get a Drew update in a few days here.
