Hello everyone! We just wanted to give a brief update as to how Alyssa is doing… For those of you who didn’t know, Alyssa had to go to the hospital on Sunday evening for her fever of 101. Since her fever was that high, she needed different tests done to be sure to rule out any bacterial infections in her body. After 3 long days in the pediatric unit at OSF and tests finally coming back, they ruled out any serious bacterial infection in her body and came to the conclusion that it was a viral infection. She probably obtained this from Big brother Drew since he’d had a virus 3 days prior to hers. Anyway, we came home Wednesday evening at 9pm and all is better now! She’s had no temp and is back to her contented little self! For all those who made encouraging phone calls or stopped by to see us, we appreciated it more than you know!
