Alyssa has arrived!!! Alyssa Lynn Knuppel was born on July 31, 2005 at 2:10 PM. She was 8 lbs. 6.5 ounces and was 20 inches long. She has dark hair with a bit of auburn in it. She was very healthy and alert from the get go! We are so thankful that everything went well.

Our due date wasn’t until August 10th and we were scheduled to get induced on August 1st. But, Sarah was having painful contractions consistently for hours on Saturday night. She called the doctor and they instructed us to come into the hospital. We got checked out, and were told to stay overnight and see how things progress. Then on Sunday morning, we hadn’t progressed much so they decided to help the process along by inducing her. I’m going to leave the rest of the labor details for sarah in a future email! But to make a long story short, she had Alyssa at 2:10 PM.
