This Christmas day was quite a long day. But not quite as long as some Christmas days. Usually we are running from family to family on Christmas day, but this year we got lucky and had Christmas on separate days. So we woke up Christmas morning and did the “Santa” thing at our house for the first time. Drew didn’t really get it. He saw the cookies and milk were eaten and just said, “I want a cookie.” Then he saw all the presents and didn’t seem to care much. So we all opened the gifts at home. Highlites were: Drew’s keyboard, Ryan’s pressure washer, Alyssa’s clothes, Sarah’s clothes gift certificate.

Then around noon we went to Grandma Meeker’s for our Meeker Christmas. Nearly the entire family made it, 30 adults and 10+ kids. We ate an awesome lunch and played games. The kids played and everyone watched them. Then we did our gift exchange. The kids were beat so we took off for my parents around 6 or so.

At night we had the Knuppel Christmas. We basically did our gift exchange and played games. Special gifts: Drew’s CAT bik, Rodney’s PS2, Randy’s video I-Pod, Ryan’s money, Sarah’s DDR PS2 game/mat, Alyssa’s jewelry box, and much more. After the kids went to bed, we played Pee-Pool (i’m the champ), Scene It (Randy dominated the TV version), and PS2 (Rodney beat up on me in NBA Live and Madden 2006).
