I did Alyssa’s update last night so now it’s time for Drew.  Drew is a little over 3 and 1/2 now and will turn 4 on August 20th.  He is getting tall and heavy (over 40 lbs. now).  This fall/winter he attended preschool at Good Sheapard in Pekin where Mrs. Mac is his teacher.  He goes three days a week for like 3 hours a day.  It was quite a fight at the beginning but now he absolutely loves to go to school!  He’s one of 2 or 3 boys in a class full of girls (oh great).  Our little buddy has also been going to Rainbow Church at First Assembly of God on Wednesday nights and loves his Sunday School class at Riverside too.

Drew is an outside nut!  He loves to play outside riding his truck/jeep, riding his friends 4-wheelers/motorcycles, kicking the soccer ball, pushing the toy mower, playing on his play set, and just having a good time with all the neighbor friends.  When we are inside he loves to wrestle and jump on daddy, watch the disney channel (Zack and Cody, Phil of the Future, That’s so Raven, etc.) and play with his Lightning Maqueen toys.

We had Drew play in the winter 3-4 year old basketball program at the Union Mission this winter and it was a disaster.  He was just too young, period!  He hated it.  When they dribbled – he said his hands hurt.  When they passed – he layed on the floor pouting.  When they shot – he just said he couldn’t do it.  Imagine the patience daddy had to have   He was definitely the youngest kid in there and it was just a mistake even trying to send him.  Maybe he’ll be more into it next year – or maybe not    Drew does love soccer though.  We kick the soccer ball around all the time and he could play that forever.

Well that’s about all I have on Drew for now.  Hopefully, I’ll keep the updates coming.
