Our church, Riverside Community Church, had a family fun night at EastSide Centre in East Peoria last night. After 30 minutes of waiting outside the gates do to ‘threatening rain’ we finally got to go in. Drew was ready to roll! He played in the kiddie pool for a little while but then it was on to the huge rope/tower/water bucket gizmo. The BIG KID land! He had a blast over there, sliding down waterslides and tipping buckets of water on people. He loved when I stood under the bucket and he ‘pulled the rope’ like they do on The Doodlebops.

Alyssa on the other hand was pretty timid when it came to the water. She finally opened up a bit and played with Sarah in the kiddie pool – but she never got real into it. We capped the night off with some snacks from the snack shop.

All in all it was a great time with friends and family!
