Happy Birthday to my baby boy Drew! He turns 1 year old today, August 20th, 2004. It’s been an eventful year for Drew:

• He got his first tooth
• He got his first haircut
• He went swimming for the first time
• He learned to crawl
• He learned to walk
• He realized the Cardinals are his favorite baseball team
• He tried MANY different foods
• He said mamma and dadda
• And much, much more…

To celebrate his birthday, we are going out to the park for lunch today. He loves to play at parks. Then this evening we will probably go somewhere to eat (embarrass him by making them sing to him). On Saturday we are having a big bash for the little guy. Lots of kids, games, prizes and fun! Maybe that evening we’ll just spend some time with family. All in all, I think Drew will have a great birthday. Join me in wishing him a Happy 1st Birthday!
