For Christmas last year I got myself, my dad and my 2 brothers the Cardinals/Cubs 4 pack ticket packages. April 20th was the first of those 4 games. We all skipped out of work/school a bit early and headed down to STL for the game.

We arrived at the stadium plenty early so we stood outside where the players walk in. Not 5 minutes after we got there, Mark Prior got out of a taxi and walked right by us into the clubhouse. He didn’t make eye contact or sign autographs with anyone. Several other players came through along with the announcing crew and Ron Santo.
After we got into the stadium, we went down to the front row of the bleachers for batting practice to try and get a few baseballs. We all got a ball and Rodney ended up getting 2. He even tried stealing one from a girl but that didn’t go over to well with the other fans

Our seats were a mile high. The weather was rainy and we actually had an hour delay. The matchup was Suppan vs. Zambrano. Make a long story short, Cardinals lost this game. Zambrano was dominant throughout the entire game.  3 more Cardinal/Cub games to go for the Knuppel Guys! Hopefully we get better results the next time.
