Sunny Florida vacation

orlando5.jpgI have so much to write about this vacation that I don’t even know where to start.  After we got back from our ‘family camp’ week, Sarah and I decided we needed a week away for a true vacation – WITHOUT the kids.  So we booked a 5 day vacation in Orlando through SaveOnResorts.com or something like that.   Here are some key’s to the week:

  • we drove to Indy and flew direct to Orlando from there.  Mental Note – IND airport is EST not CST!
  • We stayed at the Radisson Worldgate Resort (glorified hotel)
  • We had to do a ‘resort’ tour the first day so we could get free Disney Tickets.
  • We did indeed get free One Day passes to Magic Kingdom, MGM and Typhoon Lagoon.
  • Magic Kingdom was a lot of fun and full of ‘princesses’, etc…
  • MGM was neat but we didn’t spend a lot of time there.
  • We relaxed at Typhoon Lagoon and probably had the most fun there.
  • Many nights were spent at Pleasure Island (going to movies, talking about going into dance clubs, eating, etc.)
  • We ate at Planet Hollywood, ESPN Club, IHOP, and much more.
  • We had an enjoyable evening with Nicole around our hotel.

All in all it was a great time and is much needed to get out of the everyday grind mode.  Hopefully I will post some pictures and a few updates with time.

My own little page dedicated to Buffalo Wild Wings. Tracking my visits and menu order. Call me a BWW nerd if you wish but this place has been very very good to me over the years!
