Our church community group had an outing last night – we all went to the Chiefs game. We had 8 in total show up and we had a blast. It was a bit chilly but really wasn’t as bad as you would think. Very cosy in the ballpark
None of us were REAL interested in the game – but we had fun regardless. Before the game they Clydesdales paraded around the park with Ryne Sandberg (the new Chiefs manager) on top and Pete Vonachan. So my biggest question… Am I supposed to cheer for the Chiefs now or not? Part of me says YES because they are a Peoria team. But the bigger part of me says NO because they are affiliated with the Cubs. Thoughts?
The Chiefs lost the game 2-0 which thrilled us because we got a voucher for a FREE game anytime in April or May. Good deal! They also had a sweet fireworks show after the game. Thanks to my wife Sarah for making all of this happen and getting the tickets aligned!!! Oh, and thanks to my parents for watching the kiddos!

NO. Don’t cheer for any team affiliated with the Cubs!
The Chiefs game was so much fun! Thanks Knuppels for all the time you put into our group. We appreciate you very much!

P.S. Seth says you can’t cheer for the chiefs
It’s unanimous – Boo Chiefs
