So our Cardinal all-inclusive trip was fun. My brothers, dad and I took off bright and early Sunday morning for STL. We got there just before the gates opened, picked up our tickets from will-call, and got right in. Rodney, Randy and I watched a little batting practice but due to nobody having any power – we didn’t stay there long. This might be the first Cardinal game in 5 years my brother, Rodney, did not get a batting practice ball.
We were eager to check out the Coca Cola Scoreboard Patio and it was great. We were located in the front section of the patio. We had a little table and 4 chairs to ourselves. Soda was available the minute we got in. Food came about 30 minutes prior to the game. The spread was barbeque chicken, pulled pork, hotdogs, nachos, baked beans, cookies and brownies. YUM! It was all delicious. We definitely ate our fair share (and drank about a billion soda’s).
Now for the bad news. The Cardinals were horrible. Looper was not on his game and gave up 6 runs early. The Giants tacked on 2 more and led 8-0 til the ninth when the Cardinals scored a pair. 8-2 SAD! Oh well, mission accomplished. We gave the all-inclusive a try and it was great. If anyone is interested in giving it a try, let me know and I’ll be in
That is if Sarah allows me out again! haha…
