After completing a perfect 4 for 4 season in 2005. Manito Folk graduated to the Top Men’s court in the Macker for 2005. The team of Ryan Knuppel, Nate Conklin, Jason Conklin and Scott Winders had their work cutout for them. They started off the tourney with a great win. This win was due to some great shooting on their part. This ended up being a blowout victory! The 2nd game of Saturday wasn’t quite as good. We were competing hard halfway through the game, when Nate went down with a bum ankle. Nate is our big man and best rebounder so losing him on this court was surely going to hurt. He had to ice and tape his ankle and was out for the rest of the tourney. We ended up losing that game and the next game handily, making it a 1-2 tourney and not even having to play on Sunday. Better luck to Manito Folk in 2006.
