Our Gus Macker 3 on 3 team won it’s second straight tournament this weekend by winning the Gus Macker in Washington. Our team consists of Ryan Knuppel, Jason Conklin, Nate Conklin, and Scott Winders. We won two pretty easy games on Saturday, then lost a tough one Saturday evening. Then we came back on Sunday and won 5 straight games.

The highlite was beating the team that beat us twice for the championship.It was a warm weekend but overall very pleasant weather. This was the first year the Gus Macker was held in Washington and not in the streets of downtown Peoria. We all liked it in Washington, but the majority felt parking could have been better.

Manito Folk will next appear in the Manito Popcorn Festival 3 on 3 followed by the Marigold Festival 3 on 3.
