As you know, Randy Johnson threw a no hitter against the Atlanta
Braves Tuesday night. I have heard a lot of “Perfect Game” facts and thought I would post some. Feel free to comment and add others!
1) This was the first perfect game thrown on a Tuesday.
2) Randy Johnson was the oldest pitcher to throw a perfect game. He was 40 years old.
3) He’s the 6th player to pitch a no hitter in both league.
4) Braves hadn’t been no hit since 1959.
5) RJ only had 1 3-ball count.
6) This was the 17th perfect game in MLB history.
