I thought I had played every sport imaginable until the other day, when a group of us went out and played “Frisbee Golf”. It was quite an adventure and was actually pretty fun. I went out and bought a few “Discs” for us to use. They have complete sets which include, a driver, mid-range disc, and a putter. But I just stuck to the multi-purpose discs.

We played at McNaughton park in Pekin after a picnic in the park. Their course is quite scenic. It winds around up and down hills, across a creek and way back into the woods. Definately not a place to play if you can’t throw a straight frisbee We only played 8 holes as I was hauling Drew around in his stroller. Was exciting for him, but I was exhausted!

Overall it was a good experience and I think I’d go back and play this sport again. If anyone in the area wants to play, shoot me an email and I’d be up for it. Oh, and the best part, it is FREE to play!
