Rodney and I went to the Cardinals/Cubs games on Friday and Saturday at the new Busch Stadium and had a blast. The Cardinals won both games, Saturdays ending being an exciting one where Gary Bennet had a walkoff double. We got their real early for both games and had a good time watching batting practice, hanging out by the dugout, walking around the stadium, etc… Scott, I mean Will, Ohmen was a jokester out in left field so that was fun too.

After Friday’s game we hit Buffalo Wild Wings in O’Fallon before we called it a night! It was a fun trip indeed. And if anyone didn’t watch Sunday’s ESPN game, they missed out. Gary Bennet did it again! Walk-off grandslam in the bottom of the 9th to win it. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I said it before this series and I’ll say it again now. This sweep will be the defining moment in this Cardinals season. They will catapult into the post-season and run through it with the momentum started from this series. Look out National League!!!
